The mountainous ridge homes of the Diamond Head region including St. Louis Heights, Palolo, Waialae Iki and the gated community Hawaii Loa Ridge, offer sweeping views of the ocean and the city of Honolulu. Further east toward Hawaii Kai are the communities of Wailupe, Aina Haina, Niu Valley, Kuliouou and Paiko Lagoon.
